On 7/19/2004, I became aware of the need for Bad Art.
Bad Art is born when art or music is made just because it needs to be made. The only requirement for Bad Art is that it be authentic and honest. If we try to hold artistic expression to a 'good' standard that meets rigid expectations, we doom creativity to an inevitable death. Since this principle of art making does not include fulfilling any arbitrary definition of 'good', the only logical label to give it is 'bad'. Which is really good.
So I am here to profess to loving Bad Art and I that aspire to being a Bad Artist. I implore all who seek to reach the highest levels of creativity to join me in the noble pursuit of Bad Art ideals.
All things are possible with Bad Art.
